What’s involved
A casual-upscale waterfront restaurant on Long Island's south shore needs an experienced line cook for its kitchen team. You'd be covering grill, fry, sauté, and prep stations — cooking proteins, seafood, apps, and sides to recipe and keeping portions and presentation consistent. Keeping your station clean, stocked, and up to food-safety standards is part of the job, along with helping with opening/closing duties. This is not an entry-level spot — real line cook experience is required, ideally from a full-service, high-volume kitchen, with solid knife and plating skills. You'll need to be dependable, work well with the team, and stay efficient when it gets busy. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required. Pay is based on experience. Reply with your line cook background and your availability.
