Freelance Patternmaker Wanted for Knitwear Project

What’s involved

Small independent womenswear brand is looking for a freelance patternmaker to help develop and refine patterns for three pieces in an upcoming knit collection. Rough patterns and sample garments already exist — this is about taking them further: dialing in fit and construction, and working through a specific technical convertible feature built into each piece. What matters most: - Real experience with knit fabric construction specifically - Comfortable working from existing samples/rough patterns rather than starting from zero - Open to a few rounds of revisions and back-and-forth - Good communication throughout This can be done remotely (files exchanged digitally), so it's open to patternmakers anywhere, including NYC.
