On-Call Driver/Warehouse Help Wanted for an Event Production Company

An event production company based in Jamaica, Queens is looking for a dependable, organized person to help with logistics on a per diem, on-call basis. Work comes in as events get booked, so hours vary week to week — you'd get a schedule ahead of time with pickup/delivery details. The job covers picking up and returning rental décor, furniture, and event supplies around NYC; driving cargo vans (company account or your own if you have one); loading/unloading; organizing the storage units; running vendor errands; and helping prep and break down inventory after events. Some evenings, weekends, and occasional late-night pickups are part of the mix. Pay is $27-30/hour with a 4-hour minimum per scheduled shift, and there's room for more hours helping with event setup/breakdown. What you'll need: - Valid driver's license, clean driving record - Able to pass a background check - Comfortable lifting 50+ lbs - Reliable and organized - OK with a flexible schedule including some nights/weekends Experience with cargo vans, moving, warehouse work, or events is a plus but not required.
