What’s involved
A full-time pediatrician in Queens is looking for a medical assistant to complete a 200-hour observership in their office. This starts as a volunteer observership. Once it's underway, the pediatrician is open to paying an hourly rate that starts at minimum wage and increases with experience. On completion, you'll also get a recommendation letter and help getting placed in an internship program. Spanish speaking is required. Phlebotomy experience is a big plus but not required.
