A small daycare program in the Jackson Heights area of Queens is looking for a dependable, nurturing Childcare Lead to help run daily operations and pitch in on light admin work. This is full-time, about 30 hours a week, starting at $20/hour depending on experience. You don't need a teaching degree — what matters is real hands-on experience with kids and the confidence to lead a room. The role includes: - Running daily activities: circle time, arts and crafts, meals, nap, outdoor play - Keeping the space safe, structured, and supervised - Talking with parents and keeping Brightwheel updated - Handling attendance, enrollment follow-up, and student files - General daycare organization and paperwork - Occasional driving to local activities You should be reliable, patient, organized, comfortable with basic tech, and fluent in both English and Spanish.
