What’s involved
An indie documentary artist is putting together a project shot on the streets of Manhattan or Brooklyn (exact spot still being finalized) and needs an outgoing helper to join for one shoot day. Your job: walk up to strangers, explain the project in a few friendly sentences, and ask some off-the-cuff questions on camera while the artist handles the filming. This is much more about being comfortable talking to people than any technical film skill — total beginners welcome if you're naturally chatty and curious. The shoot runs about 4-5 hours, pays $250, and there's a good chance of more paid days if it's a good fit. To apply, send a short video of yourself talking about who you are and why this sounds fun — no formal resume needed.
