What’s involved
A residential appliance-repair company is expanding its network of independent technicians for service calls across Brooklyn, Queens, and the surrounding NYC area. The work covers refrigerators (non-sealed-system), washers/dryers, dishwashers, ovens/ranges/cooktops, microwaves, and other major household appliances — techs experienced with one or more of these are welcome. What's needed: • Diagnostic and repair experience with residential appliances • Your own tools and a way to get to jobs • General Liability insurance (able to provide a COI) • Ability to document jobs with diagnostic reports and photos • Professional, reliable communication No LLC required — sole proprietors and independent techs are fine. EPA 608 certification isn't needed unless a job involves the refrigerant circuit. This is subcontractor work — calls come based on your location, experience, and availability, with no guaranteed minimum volume.
